Raiders Blue won the hallowed Windsor tournament (division C) for the first time in Raiders history, a real achievement!
We had great news when Pete Harrison informed us our application for a Sport England grant had been approved. Pete took the initiative and submitted an application to Sport England for a grant that would allow us to purchase new equipment to sustain our growing membership and to provide extensive training for new and existing members.
The application was approved and the club has been awarded over £6,000 to purchase a predefined equipment list which includes gloves, balls, bases, bats and training aids.
We also were awarded an additional £1,000 to be spent on training sessions.
This means not only do we acquire some much needed new kit but it frees up the membership money we had budgeted for kit purchase and training to be spent in other much needed areas.
This is a great award for the club, many thanks to Pete!
This year not one, not two, but three members of the London Raiders were chosen as all stars to play in the All Star Nationals. This is more than any other team or club has ever had entered so congratulations to them all.
Kelvin T played in the gold team and Heather C and Jake R both played in the silver team. Not only that, but two of them got special mentions in the game write ups!

Amber J, a former player on our blue team has made the Great Britain women's team. This is a real achievement.
